Come And Join Us!

Summertown Choral Society gives two concerts a year, generally in January/February and May/June, usually in St Andrew’s Church, North Oxford. The year consists of two terms, and runs from early September to May or June, with short breaks for Christmas and Easter.

Joining SCS

Summertown Choral Society welcomes new members of all ages, voices, and abilities. There is no audition. If you would like, just come along and sing with us in a rehearsal before deciding whether you’d like to join.

This term – which started on 14 September – we are preparing for a concert of Mozart’s Great C Minor Mass and Purcell’s Funeral Sentences, which we will be performing with the Instruments of Time and Truth on 3 February 2024. For more details click here.

Our summer concert – on 18 May 2024 – will feature Brahms’ Requiem, in German and in the four-hand piano version, together with Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs.
