RunBySingers is currently recruiting experienced singers for a very special performance of Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem with full orchestra in Bayreuth’s brand new world-class concert hall. This project marks an important moment for the city, as Bayreuth broadens its musical identity beyond Wagner to include other major symphonic and choral repertoire. The concert will be part of their inaugural season. 

The performance will be conducted by Jeremy Jackman and is planned as a large-scale choral event, bringing together singers from across the UK and Europe. Recruitment is by application rather than first-come, first-served, and places are necessarily limited. While we aim to be inclusive, we will not be able to offer places to all applicants; this reflects the practical requirements of this major project and the need for choir balance.

Applications are now being accepted online at runbysingers.org along with the rest of or 2026 holiday programme. At this stage, submitting an application for Brahms involves no payment and no commitment. [Enrolment will be completed by 12 February.]
